This is the best source ofBSD info available to beginners but also doesn't hesitate to dive into the interesting details holding it all together. I have found this podcast to be an essential resource for getting and staying current with tools, techniques, and community to make BSD work for me. ...Read full review »

I enjoy the variety and the depth of coverage of each of the topics in the series. I get to learn about the technology, community and the recent updates in a timely manner. We work on FreeBSD at work and this helps me stay in touch with the recent progress and help make design decisions based on...Read full review »

This is like a live BSD Study Group where you can ask questions, get the latest news, hear what other are having difficulty with and offer feedback.

The BSD community haven't always had a wealth of easily accessible information, but with this podcast it takes a big step forward. Yes there are other great BSD podcasts (like BSDTalk), but to have a weekly podcast with so much information is a really nice addition. One part I like the most is...Read full review »

I’ve run Linux for 15 years or so, and recently stumbled upon this podcast. I’m what they often refer to as “BSD Curious” in the podcast episodes. The episodes are so interesting that it often leaves me wanting to stop everything I’m doing and go install BSD to try what they were just talking...Read full review »

Anyone running BSD (any flavor) or considering it will get a lot out of this podcast. It covers all the major flavors, and regularly interviews the leaders in BSD development. There's also good news reporting about new features. My only complain is that the slogan "The place to B…SD" is a little...Read full review »

After hearing very little about BSD, there's a place to get answers and info about all BSD's. I'm just starting out in the BSD world, because I kept hearing about Allan's use of it, and fell I'm veering off the path I was taking to Linux, right into the BSD lane. Now if I could just get one of...Read full review »

I've recently started listening this cool podcast. I'm very new to proper bsd, I've been using indirectly for a while with macos but thought I dig deeper. Loving this show giving an insight in to BSD. A show on installing from scratch command line style would be Awesone. Keep up the great...Read full review »

Finally we get a high quality podcast about everything BSD! It could be cool to have a little section about Illumos/Plan9/Haiku/Minix infos once a month though. Love it, thank you guys.

Allan Jude of ScaleEngine and Kris Moore of PCBSD bring you the weekly news and interviews from the BSD community including a tutorial. The best source of BSD news I have ever come across. A definate must listen to if you are interested in BSD or Unix.

As a relative newcomer to the BSD space I find this podcast very informative and entertaining. I have high hopes that this production will continue to raise awareness about the BSD's and what they have to offer over alternative operating systems.

It has taken the internet a while but we have our real first BSD podcast with people that know it back to front. The hosts are Allan Jude from TechSNAP fame and Kris Moore of PCBSD fame. Ranging from news to tutorials with interviews thrown in, this is a great mix of all the BSDs. Don't let...Read full review »

The Co-host Kris Moore has an established name in the BSD community, particularly with his work through PCBSD. For people who find...Read full review »
