“I have been listening to this podcast for probably more than 5 years now, although my listening has decreased in recent years. I discovered this podcast when I was a troubled high schooler dealing with anxiety and depression (although I didn’t know it) and this podcast, and particularly Ajahn Brahm, really pulled me through. I listened to “Success without Stress” over and over again. I even repeated some of his stories to my friends when they were struggling. However, I’ve noticed that Ajahn Brahm has changed recently. He talks more about himself, how many books he’s written, where he’s flown to recently. It honestly seems like he’s gotten a big head. I mean, he even thinks he can mentally stop himself from getting sick, and brags about how he can do this and other monks can’t. I can’t bare to listen to most of his talks now, which really makes me sad. I try to listen to the other monks and nuns, but their recordings are often so bad that there’s no point trying. Can we start a Gofundme to get the BSWA better recording equipment? Seriously, it’s such a good podcast, they deserve it! I just wanted to point out that I think a lot of us listeners are sort of entranced by Ajahn Brahm, and he’s not all that.”
