Description
Joe Medosch is the Director of training and all things knowledge-based for Measure Quick, an HVAC commissioning tool that helps guide HVAC technicians to ensure the system they install, and work, on perform. In conjunction with a properly sized and designed system, Measure Quick uses measurements of air flow, refrigerant charge, temperatures, and static pressure to leverage data and therefore performance of installed systems. Growing from visionaries in the field like John Proctor’s CheckMe system, Jim Bergman, who created Measure Quick,
developed a modern-day app to streamline the process of commissioning HVAC equipment installations.
The disappointing fact is that the majority of installed residential HVAC systems do not get commissioned, which brings me back to Joe Medosch, who is a fanatic
about measurement, data, tools, and the perfect person to hold the knowledgebase for Measure Quick and to use that knowledgebase to train technicians and others who care about performance and about the simple power of doing things right.
