“The current balance this podcast strikes is close to my personal ideal. KC is fantastic, but can be a little awkward when running the show, so having Rob step into that role has been smart; it allows KC to be his natural self and convey all the little things he picks up as the Bulls beat writer. Rob's no slouch either.
It's also nice to have the occasional appearance from Tony or guests like Will, though surely there must be some women who have expert opinions on the Bulls too?
After a brief detour with the irrepressible Jason Goff as host (a guy with a lot of interesting opinions and who I'd love to hear on the podcast as a regular guest - though I expect that he's been away due to his other gigs - but who was just not really suited to being a host at this point), this podcast is back to its best.
I have, consequently, changed my one-star rating back to its original five. Order has been restored. I'll keep my old review below for transparency.

This podcast ticks a lot of boxes since they essentially rebooted* it: KC is a walking Bulls archive with plenty of insight, Rob is doing some good reporting, and Jason brings an abundance of enthusiasm.
But as host, Jason needs to do a lot better at actually letting people answer the questions he’s posing. Not only do his questions tend to be long and rambling, but often he’ll interrupt KC or Rob to clarify something, but then keep talking and forget to actually give them some space to respond.
I like the enthusiasm, but I don’t like that it means the podcast feels as if it’s 80% Jason, and 20% KC and Rob.
