Astounding podcast
Despite the issues with the credibility of one source, and the ensuing statement from the NYT, this is still my absolute favourite podcast. I’m now on my second listen and the structure, narrative flow and production quality of this series is just amazing. I feel Callimachi has become the scapegoat on the issues here. There will have been a team working on this and they too should be held culpable for the lack of due diligence with source checking. I think it’s probably very difficult to ever know whether someone who claims they have been a part of isis or not and the doubts are raised in the podcast. Regardless, Callimachi is an astounding individual in terms of what she will put herself through to get to the story. Just listen to the first episode to see!

Everything that Rukmini Callimachi puts out is interesting, thought provoking and absolutely worth your while. This podcast is no different; I highly recommend that you listen and subscribe.

A fascinating incite into a complex subject. Highly suggested if you think you understand ISIS. Just the first episode blew my mind with content I otherwise never would have experienced.
