Very interesting podcast. Why do so many religious institutions seem to prioritize the protection/spiritual welfare of the sinners over the welfare of the abused - and those at risk? It seems to be a pattern in so many stories of institutionally supported abuse. Avoiding scandal, moving on, protecting the religious power struggles is the priority - not safeguarding. It also proves, yet again, that absolute patriarchal power corrupts- absolutely. Sad that this is still going on under the guise of religious propriety.

Brilliantly researched and extremely important for the public to know about. Each episode is tense and grim, but somehow hopeful.
