Honestly I really like this concept. But the episodes were so short that it was cumbersome to listen to 30 minutes of content. Suggest you provide minimum 20 minutes of content per episode. I LOVE the concept. I want to listen to true crime and mystery but sometimes it’s too thrilling or the narrator is too rough and so it makes it hard to have the “best of both worlds.” This podcast accomplishes that, and the selection is also very well curated! For me, calm reading means rather quiet and slow, so there is nothing jarring you back awake. The readers of these stories are loud or brash, speak quickly and use different voices for characters. Nice in many ways, but not calming or easy to fall asleep to, at least not for me.

The reader has a very enjoyable and emotive voice and selects interesting stories, both familiar and unfamiliar to me. I binged on the backlog and found it very fun listening. :-)

Each episode is under 15-20 minutes long, and this just isn’t workable for serialized stories. Just as you are getting into the story, the podcast is done.
