Students in Toronto have been mobilizing in huge numbers to respond to the humanitarian crisis in Syria. The Ryerson University Lifeline Syria Challenge was created by four Toronto area universities with a goal to help sponsor and resettle ten Syrian refugee families. In the past few months, hundreds of volunteers have responded to the call to action. Now the network of students is committed to helping 75 families. In this special edition of Campus, we speak with some of the students involved in this massive undertaking, and find out why they’ve come together to help.
