Excellent Podcast!
Capital Allocators is a great exploration of the business of institutional asset management. Ted is an industry veteran and has a great rollodex of guests from across the industry. Episodes are essentially a free form conversation between Ted and guest exploring their personal experience and their niche in the institutional asset management industry. As an outsider we are treating to a ton of insider information into the processes of how different institutional investors such as pensions and endowments work and think as well as how specific investment industries like private equity, venture capital, and hedge funds work. The way Ted goes through each guests career progression is great for students and I highly recommend the podcast for any undergraduate or graduate students interested in financing and investing as well as any other armchair students of the industry like myself!

Ted's interviews are almost always interesting. Although my asset allocation decisions are far simpler than the folks to whom he talks, I generally find the issues his guests are considering provide useful context.Read full review »

Occassionally, a guest (amazing people so far) would share a gem of an advice. Listening to this podcast...Read full review »
