Fascinating and timely subject, with scientific, cultural and economic implications. There’s a lot to cover, but the host/producer is preoccupied with turning it into a personal journey story. He arbitrarily chooses one contender for the carbon capture prize who happens to resemble the host...Read full review »

Cooper McKim and the WY PBS staff including Melody Edwards did a wonderful job explaining the complicated process of carbon capture and reuse. I listened to it in one day! Well done!

Late to the game but that only meant I was able to power listen to this in a day. Great reporting by Cooper McKim and the WY public radio group. Interesting topic that I had heard the terminology for but did not understand the concept/use of captured carbon. Thanks for the information!

This was a new subject for me—something I had not ever heard of. The author did a great job, as well as a lot of detail as to why attempting carbon capture is such a difficult and expensive problem which may never even be feasible. Thanks, Cooper!

I think about this all the time in regards to my small, rural hometown, what will they do when their one industry is no longer serving as the largest employer and tax revenue? Great job cooper and co

Carbon Valley is exceptional! The entire notion of a race to develop carbon-capture technologies in the context of revitalizing Wyoming coal country is kind of nuts, but Carbon Valley turns this nutsiness into an incredible story and intriguing listening!!

I’ve read a fair amount about carbon capture, mostly strictly through the lens of using carbon capture to reduce atmospheric CO2. Most articles/podcasts were talking about aspects of carbon capture that I already knew about, so thinking about carbon capture through the lens of revitalizing...Read full review »

Have only heard ep. 1 so far and am already hooked! Cooper does a great job taking the listener along with him exploring this controversial topic, and showing all sides of what is a complicated but important story.

I was moved by this dive into carbon capture and life in Wyoming. Coopers personal story is a compassionate voice of understanding of the heartache of these longtime coal mining families.

The angle this podcast takes is brilliant. The idea of creating a profitable industry by pulling carbon out of the atmosphere is so cool. Also, Cooper McKim does a great job narrating, developing characters and being his geniune, slightly awkward (but not ashamedly so) self. Well done.

So thankful for this specific project and the hardworking the team at Wyo. Public Radio did to bring this story to everyone. I really had no idea about Carbon Capture or what was going on in my own state in regards to it. Here’s to more understanding of what lays ahead of us as a community and...Read full review »
