I just listened to the first 45 min of the first episode of the Moors murders and had to stop. I was astounded at the amount of unnecessary detail that serves no purpose in conveying the character of the Brady and Huntley or information about their crimes. I can’t imagine how this detailed info...Read full review »

My personal favourite podcast and the best true crime podcast I have listened to. None of the schmaltzy, gimmicky OTT story telling, no tangents about the host’s personal life, just a slick and well presented piece of work.

I love listening to this podcast and have listened to all the episodes. I do agree though the last few have been uninteresting and tend to give up before the end. Looking forward to much more interesting stories in 2020. Thanks you for the great work👏🏾

This was the first podcast I got into! He does an excellent job. Every episode is filled with suspense.

I don’t often have time to listen to podcasts and when I do I often have to stop it multiple times while listening, sometimes not starting it again for a couple of days. This podcast series is so easy to follow, so well presented and the cases are so interesting. It’s my absolute fav podcast I...Read full review »

This is by far the best true crime podcast. I love Casey’s voice and accent.

Best voice for keeping you intrigued till the end.

The deadpan narration and matter-of-fact writing style make this one of the top true-crime podcasts. They don’t go out of their way to sell the story, but just calmly relate the horror. The episodes are nice and long, too.

Love love love this channel.

This podcast is fire!!! It’s so informative and the host is perfect. I just listened to all episodes and eager for more. The ads are super long and annoying though. I hope that changes

Thanks, anonymous host, for the monotonous voice. Helps me fall asleep on my lunch break 😴

I’m still giving this a 5* review as I’ve listened to every episode at least twice and some of them more than that. I love it and have recommended it to so many people. However I do agree that the last few just haven’t seemed as gripping as the previous episodes. I thought it was just me not...Read full review »

I’ve listened to every episode and it used to be my favourite pod. However for some reason, running out of interesting material perhaps, it’s now way past it’s best. Spending time listening only to find a case has no resolution is a waste of my time. Improve the stories, and soon, or I’m leaving.

I’m been listening from the start and enjoyed almost every episode. Love the not-american perspective and our anonymous host! Good job guys!

Well researched and well spoken! The reader tells gripping stories with a soothing voice! Best podcast ever. Love every episode. I literally cannot get enough.

The best true crime podcast out there. But as many have said, some of the more recent episodes have been less interesting and a little lacking in intrigue. Would love a pod on Fred & Rose West, also perhaps an occasional historic case - a good Victorian type. Overall a really well put...Read full review »

The ability to build a story, keeping the audience gripped whilst getting all the relevant facts of the case out there is second to none!! Keep up the good work!

Has been in my library since early on. Love the host, the research and presentation but I’m sorry the stories have gone offshore! Can’t relate in the same way somehow. Unsolved crimes are disappointing too, I know it’s the way of things and there are so many unsolved murders and crimes, but can...Read full review »

I used to eagerly await new episodes and they kept my attention from start to finish. Recent episodes I’ve found difficult to follow or just plain uninteresting. The quality of the podcast is still great, Casey is still a great host and narrator however the last few cases just haven’t been as...Read full review »

Like many other listeners Casefile was my favourite podcast. I no longer have a favourite because for the past 3 to 4 months, I’ve found many Casefile episodes boring and so haven’t listened to the end. There seem to be a lot more foreign cases which is ok occasionally but, since we’re only...Read full review »

I have been listening to this podcast from the beginning and recently decided to listen to a more recent episode. His voice has changed into a droning, uninteresting cadence. It’s awful. The only reason I’m dropping a star. Used to love it. Very thorough.

I enjoy all these stories. Makes my shift go by fast. Good work.
Gallegos.D via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 12/13/19
Clearly a huge amount of effort goes into these, very good indeed. Please take this as a friendly observation but I’m not so keen on the style of narration in the latest episodes - you’ve lost some of the much needed humanity from your voice. Only my opinion!
Jonesooooo via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 12/12/19
I appreciate the simplicity. Just telling the story, good ambient background music. My #1 true crime podcast

This is my favorite podcast. I needed a moment to get into the podcast because I was used to ones with comedy or very dynamic narration. But I promise you, if you love true Crime, you will end up loving this podcast. It’s so well researched, interesting, and clear. I wait with anticipation for...Read full review »

I love this podcast. The ‘anonymous’ host has the most amazing voice and really goes into detail about each case. I just wish I knew who this Mr. Anonymous was... lol

The first podcast I have ever listened to and they have certainly set the bar very high! I’m seriously obsessed and can’t get enough of anonymous host’s voice 🤫

Content is great, but it’s presented more like a college lecture. I have a hard time staying engaged the monotone. Some inflection would help greatly rather than reading off a page.
JessM112 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 12/09/19
I love to hear about all of the international cases. I’m glad they have the warning at the beginning so I know which episodes that may be too sensitive for myself.

Casefile was the first podcast I listened to. Spoilt for sure as no other podcast is good enough. The way some of the names are pronounced makes me laugh, a bit of light entertainment. We Aussies really do sound odd.
katecollier via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 12/08/19
This is my all time favorite podcast! I love the narrator’s voice and how he tells the story without giving pointless details as some others I’ve listened to.
