Breast cancer ep
My 12 year old cat actually passed two weeks ago from cancer. It started in one of her mammary glands and spread down her left side. Sadly even though we did the surgery it wasn’t enough. The edges showed cancer cells and with the fact that her auto immune kicked in and her lungs started to essentially become like when we have pneumonia it caused us to put off a second surgery to remove the rest. Eventually she got worse and we discovered it was in her lymph nodes and was making its way through her body. So surgery was off the table and I had to watch her as it eventually made its way to her lungs.
I ended up getting everything in my room so she wouldn’t have to go far.
It’s a difficult time for anyone to go through. Just know that you have support and spend as much time with them as you can.
