Jay and Josh are fantastic at showcasing all kinds of worldviews. I strongly appreciate how no topic is off limits, no one gets chided for talking through an idea, and disagreement isn’t shut down. We all need to learn how to do this. If you’re not into extremism, but you want to become an...Read full review »

My 20 year old son put me on to your podcast and I’ve been listening to past episodes while driving heavy trucks around. Excellent topics and discussion.

Very much enjoy listening to Josh and jay talk about their faith and what it means to be a Christian in the current climate of cynicism and apathy that our culture is so entranced by

I really enjoy all of the Catacomb podcasts. But the immigration episode may be my favorite so far. In a time when the country is so divided it is refreshing to hear common sense dialogue on this subject.

The Catacombs is a unique and important member of the body podcast. In an age of deconstruction, Josh, Jay, their guest (and don’t forget Thad) aren’t just reveling in cynicism; they are revealing it with an eye towards subverting/solving it. This isn’t a pity party; it’s a pilgrimage...one well...Read full review »

These guys talk and act like normal human beings. I have listened to and digested almost every episode. In the process, I have been encouraged in that I don’t feel alone in my struggles anymore. My frustrations and fears are validated here and in that validation, I find a home.

Something about them keeps me coming back. I could do with less bickering and wish they would let guests speak more. Otherwise, interesting guests and conversation.

Great content & humorous. I search for podcasts with common interests and am glad to have an alternative middle ground between a.m talk radio and my metal playlist- I will be tuning in from Texas.

Ok Jay, your guilt trip on the last episode worked. I’m rating and reviewing the podcast. To be fair, I would have sworn I had already done so before. But I checked, and I hadn’t. But everyone needs to know that this is a GREAT podcast. Very thoughtful and thought provoking. Every episode I get a...Read full review »

One of the best podcasts I’ve listen to. The host to really down to earth and very transparent. Would love to get to sit in on one of the sessions when I’m the area.

I will admit my bias up front that I know one of the hosts. But I also get dozens of podcasts recommended to me on a regular basis that I never end up enjoying. Catacombs podcast is very well produced and offers a unique perspective from the middle. I am a very critical and cynical person,...Read full review »

I love how honest they are in where we are in search for the whole of who Jesus is and where we are as followers who fail miserably at times in that search.

It feels like a conversation we are invited to, with humor to cut the edge of sometimes weighty topics. Solutions and thought out ideas instead of griping. Great list of guests. Big fan.

A breath of fresh air for a conversation space that has a tendency to be angry or pessimistic, the Catacomb podcast wrestles with questions of faith and the Church with transparency and honesty while resolving to find a good path forward for themselves.

I really enjoy this podcast. It’s honest real talk and keeps Jesus in the center. We all know we’ll never figure it all out, but it’s good to keep the discussion going.

Cynics are welcome but this isn’t a podcast for people who want to wallow in defeat. We may have questions but this podcast helps us press toward peace.

Prepare to navigate the debris of an evangelical era post-deconstruction. Is there anything worth salvage? Jay and Josh are convinced as they take an honest look at why you need the church, and how the church needs you. True disciples are in this messy beautiful heart wrenching evangelical enigma...Read full review »
