“Good podcast, but the COVID-related episodes - and similar politicised tales - never age well. Judging from his tone of certitude, it seems unlikely Tim Harford will provide any updated episodes, even when shown to be demonstrably wrong. A good start would be a cautionary tale on groupthink, why encouraging debate is important, and the perils of confusing government-sponsored public health advice with science. The non-politicised episodes are enjoyable and well-researched, but one simply has to be patient with the less well-researched 'left-of-centre' episodes, spoiled by nudging and sophistry.”Read full review »
