Stiff and overscripted
The episode about Keith Jarrett convinced me I won’t listen again to this dry, verbose, frustrating podcast. The host takes an interesting premise and drags out the story by talking, or should I say lecturing, droning on and on about his “point” until I just skipped to the end and was done. The idea itself was good but the execution, which included actors reading quotes of famous people in a singsong way, was a bore. Not for me.

The storyteller is way too slow, way too boring Sound effects do not help or make it more entertaining

Great podcast, informative, provides great scary lessons for us. I think the podcast is still finding its mark, but I’m already hooked.

Captivating and well executed. Only downside is the show is only about British stories, so they don’t all resonate for listeners in other countries.
