Not in the same league as Cover 3
First time hearing/seeing Gary Parrish talk about college basketball and I could only last about 4 episodes. Just parroting stats and various analytic rankings without the ability to use them to provide a valuable insight. Might as well save an hour of your day and go to kenpom yourself since that’s about as much “analysis” as you’ll get from him. As poor as I find his basketball analysis, his likeability as a host is even worse. The humor/stories are forced and sometimes cringeworthy, and rarely provide any comedic value. I was hoping for a basketball podcast of similar quality/fun to the cover 3 football podcast, but this isn’t even in the same league. I’ll keep looking.

A great podcast for college hoops junkies. I love learning and this podcast has me learning something new every time out

Last year I knew I would only get back into college bball on my schedule through a podcast. I tried a few and this one is absolutely the best. Not focused on predictions, but still helped me win two brackets just by being engaging. Now in the off season I am enjoying them just as much.

One of my favorite podcasts after Red Ticket Blues. Yes, Parrish loves to hear himself talk, many times keeping Matt and Sam as silent listeners, but all-around good podcast. I've tried ESPNU and the CBS guys are light years better.Read full review »
