Thank you for the sermon on trauma by Ed. It was so true and understanding. I’ve gone through a lot of trauma in my life. As a child, I was sexually abused by my father, which I know has filled me with fear of people. But the worst trauma to happen to my family and me was the death of my...Read full review »

Thank you for always pointing me to gospel truth and encouraging me in Jesus! As I serve on the field in the Middle East and do not have access to good Christian community or a local church to fill me up spiritually, I cannot even explain how meaningful and helpful your podcast has been to me....Read full review »

Appreciate the teachings on how prayer and care for self and others has a way of regulating our bodies: blood pressure, physical and emotional pain, disordered eating/sleeping/cravings, etc. Another testament to the reality that the Holy Trinity meets ALL our needs. Thank you for sharing the Truth.

I love how CCEF practically engages Scripture and faithfully wrestles with modern problems. It’s hard to listen to any of their material without gaining insight. Thank you for your work!

Please continue to speak to our hearts thru this podcast! I haven’t been able to put into words the “blah” feeling but you did! Languishing! And then you gave me scripture and truth to meditate on. It’s true. God is with me in the wilderness; yet, He is also shaping me on the journey through the...Read full review »

It’s good to have the podcast back, and I liked the new format with Alistair sharing reflections on rest. It almost sounded like a biblical meditation app with a reflective, contemplative tone that had practical applications and interesting anecdotes. I think this is a great format and I look...Read full review »

Really enjoy this podcast. I used to think biblical counselors disregarded the study of psychology (and I really enjoy psychology) but I was wrong! The episodes are grounded in biblical truth (which is always challenging and life giving) and include insights gained from the field of psychology as...Read full review »

Fantastic podcast. I am currently working on my degree as a counselor and I love the biblical counseling approach. I listen to many of these while I am at work. My only wish is that there were 5 new episodes a week haha. Great job, keep the faith, and please keep the podcasts coming!!! Thank you!

These discussions are excellent resources for professionals who want to work with human beings (not disorders) in the light of truth. They are very helpful and supportive of Christians trying to navigate the world of therapy from a biblical truth perspective.

What I find even more compelling than their spot-on counseling advice is the overall gentle and compassionate tone. It is very humanizing. Listening to the podcast is a washing of peace and wisdom. Thank you for this helpful resource!

Is it ok to be a stay-at-home-dad? Yikes!!! This is suppose to be biblical? Where in the world is Titus 2? This isn't about wisdom, this isn't about gifts, and God has established roles for each Gender, male AND female. It IS important to communicate the Kingdom of God. Titus 2 says,...Read full review »
