It aims to determine what sorts of activities would be of benefit to the broader community of researchers in Postcolonial Studies and how the CPS can act as a facilitator. A key goal during this workshop is to set a theme bringing in different specialisms and disciplines with a view to collaborating on a large, interdisciplinary conference in September 2016. Outcomes: This event will mark the start of a longer-running network focused on shaping the future of postcolonial studies across the UK and beyond. A funding proposal will be submitted for a networking grant in order to run the conference in September 2016 and further targeted workshops, with the aim of producing a publication in 2017 in the form of either and edited volume or special issue of a journal.
