My new number 1 podcast
I’m a long time disc golfer (30+ years) who just turned 53 and took a little time off to focus on other things. I decided it was time to dust off my bag and get back to slinging disc but found my body wasn’t moving the same way. I found the Chain Clankers by accident and loved the podcast from the first episode. Their raw, learn by doing information was exactly what I was looking for!!! The second episode “10 mistakes to avoid” was my wake up call to all the mistakes I was doing. Yes, they aren’t Pros but they are full of great advise and information that even the best slingers can learn from!!! Hope they keep it going for many years because I’m eating up this podcast fast.
Starting at the beginning
I’m only a few episodes in to this podcast. I like the idea of it, as I want to continue to grow my skill level and knowledge of the game. I am having a slightly difficult time staying engaged, due to the hosts’ deliveries. They do sound like disc golfers, but not in a good way. The “clangin’ chains” schtick is hard to listen to for more than 15 minutes at a time. Also, in the beginning, their interview skills need a fine tune. However, I do appreciate the content and will give them a chance. I will change my review if it gets better.
