“Promising beginning as I enjoy true crime and its resolution. However the sound engineer is just too intrusive with his or her own ‘art’ and the sound effects destroyed the narrative just too many times to keep me engaged. Near the end of episode 1 I gave up and found something similar that didn’t drown soft female tones. This is just too common- irritating noise that is also too loud so thread of story is lost. Sorry.”

First one is interesting until they start throwing in all the ads then the second (and I presume the rest) spends half the podcast repeating most of the info in the first podcast !!!!
