“The meme about shilling the patreon I get, the way it is brought up is still humorous to me. However trying to listen to this podcast during a workout and falling asleep has become frustrating. It feels like this show packs in not only the patreon-chatter but also 3-4 commercial breaks in every episodes now, also added in with talk about their merch shop.
Now beyond that, I love this show, I love its hosts and despite my dislike of the “viewer story” episodes they do to pad the show in between what I presume is research for some of their excellent episodes I find it hard to recommend with so many interruptions disrupting the flow of the show. Listen to some older episodes and you can really get lost in the stories and the fun banter. How I miss the days of Dyatlov pass.”
