There are many misunderstandings on the role of Chinese civilization in the development of human history. Historically, Chinese have said no to the so-called "clash of civilizations" and see the beauty of each civilization.  Historically, Western civilization is not from the West and borrowed a lot of elements from Chinese civilization, which led to the rise of the West.
