Captures the Spirit
This is the first podcast review I've ever left, and it's only because this is, episode for episode, the most uplifting, educational, and inspirational podcast I've listened to. The consistency of scheduled episodes, the frequency with which they come out, and the always-positive nature of them make listening to ChooseFI's podcasts a highlight of my week. Unlike other podcasts I subscribe to (both within and outside the FI sphere), ChooseFI makes me feel empowered, validates, and helps me focus on short and long term goals, whereas other podcasts-aligned with what I may want to do AFTER FI, have lately served to depress me, reminding me how far I have to go. This podcast does not do that. Knowing I can hear from and communicate with others on a similar path has done wonders for my psyche. Thank you, thank you thank you! K-12 FI Guy P.s. I'd be interested in hearing from joe of Retire by 40. He hS pulled the trigger on FI, and does things a bit differently than other FI/RE folks. I'd love to hear you both pick his brain!Read full review »

There is undoubtedly an avalanche of details and specifics in their episodes, and they deconstruct topics wonderfully. I'm current in a emergency situation with my...Read full review »

I started listening to this podcast after hearing them on a Radical Personal Finance Podcast episode. Since listening to them I've doubled my 401(k) savings rate, got a Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card for travel hacking, and refinanced my student loans to a lower rate (nearly 2%...Read full review »
