“BUT. Another wealthy upper middle class guys reviewing cars and chatting show. If the average UK salary is £38,000 and the average house price is £290,000 and you’re living significantly over double this then you’re in the top 1%, don’t be ashamed.
It’s fairly standard car show stuff at the moment, mainly involving cars that 99% will never afford… Now that’s out of the way.
All three seem genuinely good people and all three certainly know their onions. As I’m fairly new to it the only name I know is Chris Harris. The poshest one of the lot seems a proper good man and obviously has a fantastic level of knowledge. After a couple of minutes listening to him you have a respect for him and release why he’s there.
The least posh chap makes some interesting observations and he’s valuable but in a similar way to Spindarella being valuable to Salt-N-Pepa.
So far it’s 4/5 for me, yes I’ll subscribe, yes I’ll enjoy. The loss of one mark isn’t really their own fault, it’s due to the sheer volume of well spoken, upper middle class men doing car stuff online.
Not sure how these guys can make it different or what they can add. Celebrity stories, stories from Top Gear and 5th gear. It’s might seem like “cheap heat” (as they say in pro wrestling) but it’s one thing Chris H has over lots of other upper middle class online car men, he’s worked with and been around some huge names, most of the others haven’t.
I know I can edit this review and I’m hoping I’m given reason to the bump it up. Like Salt-N-Pepa’s 1988 album “Hot, Cool And Vicious” track 5 said…. “It’s alright””
