215 episodes

Hosted by Emmanuel Iheke Jr, “Churchboy Confessions” engages young adults with a series of monologues and conversations communicating God’s Word with the utmost vulnerability. For many, the churchboy/churchgirl archetype represents someone who has it all together. But the reality is that we’ve all sinned and fallen short, and we don’t get better by avoiding conviction and hard conversations. Instead, we have to have them. Join Emmanuel and the UN-ASSOCIATED family to discuss the real struggles and challenges that accompany the faith walk and how Jesus is the answer to them all.

How to Be a Christian During a Solar Eclipse

How to Be a Christian During a Solar Eclipse

Let's face it, we've all fell down the rabbit hole of an end time conspiracy at some point in our lives by now. Or maybe instead of a conspiracy, we sat through the a false teacher or prophet preaching a whole lotta of anti-biblical nonsense. Realistically, we will never be able to escape with the frenzy of conspiracies, false prophecies and heresies that drop every week on the internet. Nevertheless, it's important that we not be deceived, and the Word of God is here to guide us through all the lies and deception.

My God is Humble and He Loves Me

My God is Humble and He Loves Me

Most conversations surrounding the gospel talk about the physical pain, suffering and death that Christ experienced on our behalf. Today I want to talk about something else Jesus endured for our sakes, and that's humiliation. Some people think God is egotistical, but when we really take time to consider what it meant for the Creator to humble Himself and suffer at the hands of His own creation, the "egotistical" label simply doesn't stick. Let's unpack.

Today I invite 3 women from the UN-ASSOCIATED team on to talk about what it means to be women who are "set apart" in today's society. Danielle Clayton (Editor-in-Chief), Dena Williams (Live Events Director) and Maddy Owusu (Social Engagement Director) open up about their adolescent years as Believers, their ideas on purpose, marriage, and desirability politics.

    Are We Overthinking "Purpose"?

    Are We Overthinking "Purpose"?

The conversation around our individual purposes can be an exciting one or anxious one depending on who you ask. I've noticed a large amount of anxiety our generation has when it comes to this. We are in a point in our lives where we want to know our purpose, but it seems like God doesn't want to give us a clear answer to what that is. How do we continue to navigate our day-to-day, uneventful, unfulfilling lives until He answers us?

Nathan Charlot ,

I love this podcast

This podcast is amazing to me it is so enjoyable to listen to and learn from. My relationship with God has been a rollercoaster with so many ups and down, and I’m just glad that I am able to obtain some knowledge to grow closer and closer to God. The struggle is really hard but I’m going to delight in my trials. I am glad God put people on this earth like you to spread his good news.

JessieBlack ,

God brought me to this one!

I was raised a Christian all my life… that for me can get confusing. The episode “I forgot about grace again” was literally what I’ve been struggling with for years. Emmanuel, through and by God, makes clear how to keep a tight relationship with God.

MamiJass ,

I love to see it!

Im a first time listener & I'm excited to see your platform grow! We need more male figures on these type of platforms edifying Gods word. Keep keeping it real... :)
