Society has been conditioned to expect their creative content to be free or next to nothing leaving the artist, whether it is a filmmaker, musician, painter, or any creative person, in a position wondering how they are going to make money to make a career out of this venture or even just make enough money to make the next project. Today, I examine the devaluation of films in the marketplace and what are some alternatives for us as filmmakers.
