Roku Streaming Devices, HBO's Game of Thrones, Pluto Streaming Network
Game of Thrones Seasons 1-7 were awesome, but season 8, not so much.Arcades are making a come back thanks to company's like Arcade 1UP, but there are a lot of pretenders out there selling these stand up arcade retro gaming rigs for a lot of money and people are paying that money for non-licensed, ROM rips that are going right into the pocket of these companies and it needs to stop.We talk about The Chronicles of Riddick, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Shawshank Redemption and Marvel's X-Men.Roku, NBC Peacock, TUBI, Pluto and other apps available for the streaming stick. Good show!
I really enjoy this show. Turned my buddies on to it & they really like it now. We hangout & discuss the content on the weekends. Check it out!
A couple of whiny guys
This is a pretty poor excuse for a movie discussion show. It's a couple of very whiny guys being such hypocrites, it's laughable. They're so inconsistent from review to review. Here's what I mean: In their review of the movie Warcraft, they admit that movie adaptions don't need to follow the source material exactly, they show appreciation for CGI and how far it's developed to get to where it is now, and they talk about how the unfair critics don't get it, hence the undeservedly low review scores. Sounds reasonable, right? But then for other movies, super hero movies, for example, they crap all over the movie for using CGI, for not directly adapting the story from the comics (all while getting the details from the comics all wrong), and saying that the low critics' scores are correct and that the dumb audiences only enjoyed the movie because they're stupid. This is absolute hypocrisy to an eye-rollingly laughable degree. They should just get the 10 year old kid who joined them on the Warcraft review to do the whole show, because that kid was actually knowledgeable about everything and surprisingly better at reviewing the movie than the two main guys Mike & Joe. Speaking of those two, why is Mike so rude to Joe? I was just listening to that Mike guy all of a sudden get really pissy, for some reason - I have no clue why. Mike suddenly just started complaining on and on about how Joe was "yapping" over him too much, and he whined about the others not listening to him, and refused to talk about the movie for a while. Joe seemed to be the more reasonable of the two, because he was just trying to get the show back on track, while Mike was being a crybaby. Did these guys ever reconcile? Who knows; who cares? As if I'd ever bother listening to this show ever again.
Movies are Awesome!
Joe and Mike are endearing and I feel like I'm rollin' with the homies!
One suggestion - When talking about the movies, it would be awesome if you rolled in some music or clips from the movie. Really brings the listener into your heads and reminds them of the movie. Looking forward to more episodes!
