A podcast for both classic 4x4 diehards and fans of good storytelling generally
Always a great listen! After a friend was raving about the earliest episodes, I thought I’d give it a go. The passion that Chris and his guests have for classic 4x4s and the lengths they go to track them down and restore them immediately drew me in. Great stories about the trucks and their collectors are shared in every episode, each one unique. A podcast for both classic 4x4 diehards and fans of good storytelling generally. Definitely a keeper, not one I’ll be “passing down the line.”

More for collectors than builders
Mostly good content that has introduced me to some cool builders and companies. But this is definitely more Hemmings/Robb Report than JP/Dirt Every Day, and if you’re an enthusiast that religiously drives your classic 4x4 to the local show n shine and has your mechanic on speed dial, but it never sees a trail and you’ve never rebuilt a hub in the rain, this is probably right up your alley. I would love season two to focus more on building and using the rigs than investing in and flipping them.
The host is obviously pretty knowledgeable and passionate about the subject, and does a good job engaging guests. Looking forward to more!
