“Just finished listening to Coach Carson’s podcast with Lisa Phillips and I was blown away on a lot of levels. Lisa - thank you for sharing both your wins and losses - most of the advice I hear focuses solely on the wins and I have always found it dubious. Thank you also for breaking down your approach for lower priced properties - it feels more approachable to me to try investing in this space.
Chad, thank you for not skipping or glossing over the racism (and sexism) issues in real estate and in Lisa’s corporate career and allowing her to tell her story in her own words. So many podcasters minimize people’s negative experiences and this didn’t happen here. I didn’t have to read in between the lines and guess what Lisa was up against. I am inspired that Lisa was able to step out of the system that worked against her and create her own system that is allowing her to not only create financial independence but also make the world a better place. This is what it’s all about.
