Came here for Spade Cooley, ended up staying
Cooley was of interest to me because of his bit part status in James Elroy's work. Being as it's such a grim story, i wasn't sure that the rest of the series would hold my interest but, due to great story telling and some fantastically in depth research, I've found myself looking forward to every episode. Whether or not you like country, these are fascinating stories. If you already like country, the stories may likely grab you more. Well researched plus great music clips. The liner notes are just as interesting as the episode itself.

Tyler does an amazing big job of researching and presenting key stories in the history of country music.
