Extremely well researched
I recommend this podcast for any fan of country music so you get to know where your music comes from and also to help fans of the music of country radio of today understand the criticism of so called "purists". It is extremely well researched and done and I really enjoy that it has focused on people and stories that are a little lesser known and not just rehashing the same stories of the artists that you usually see.Read full review »

Binged all four episodes on a drive from AL to KY. Very well done. Every time I start to think that maybe it’s dragging on, he brings it back around and all of that stuff I thought was “fluff” becomes relevant to the story. And I want all them books!

Incredible story telling , very well put together details that would have otherwise been lost in time , of the origins and roots of true country music. Amazing can’t get enough .
