“I checked this out years ago, but was very discouraged because the native speaker speaks so quickly. And never seems to have a mode where he will enunciate clearly and slow the speech down. So that learners can understand what the heck the words are.
Native speed is fine if you understand what the word is when spoken clearly.
Having studied a little German at this point, I was checking this out again. If not for Mark continually asking him to repeat things and slower, this would be too difficult of a resource to use for learning. I was an avid listener of coffee break French. I liked the teaching style and that Mark would always annunciate things slow and clear at least for the first time or two. So that people could learn to make the sounds.”
