“Found this podcast recently after watching a “you may also like” video on YouTube (I was researching espresso machines). CLR is a good source of information about coffee techniques, equipment, but mostly the actual main product (coffee beans) and the people involved in its production, processing, distribution, roasting.
Smart without being arrogant or snobbish, professional but still personable, it’s like sitting down with some fun knowledgeable friends and learning something about their obsession ;).
And every now and then, you’re in for a surprise special treat (April 1st and Hallowe’en specials) where smart takes a break and is replaced by clever and funny.
Their casual relaxed tone with sprinkles of humour definitely makes this an enjoyable listen during work commute. You’ll probably come out of it more knowledgeable and relaxed. Maybe you’ll even become a « Coffee Connoiseur ».”
