I was quite impressed with how detailed oriented this story was and how well it was produced for the listeners. I was completely sucked in and actually found myself in tears during the episode “Killing Susan’s Children”. It was a very hard episode to listen to but done in a respectful manner and...Read full review »

Wow. I really have no words. This podcast is very well done. The journalist Dave Cawley does an amazing job.

For me, this podcast did a great job of finding the balance of showing the entirety of both Susan & Josh's personalities. This is so well presented considering the staggering amount of information to organize.

I have been listening to true crime podcasts for the last two years. This one is, by far, the best one out there. I appreciated that Dave worked so hard to develop rapport with law enforcement to give them the credit they deserve. I also appreciate that he went far beyond recording interviews...Read full review »

This one is by far the best podcast I’ve listened to. The story is presented in an orderly fashion and the recorded interviews were clear and easy to understand. It was easy to follow the story and I didn’t have to keep jumping back to re-listen. The lead detective on the case provided a lot of...Read full review »

Yet so tragic! The system let Susan and her beautiful boys down in so many ways. This could have been avoided. My heart goes out to the Cox family. 😢

This is the best podcast out there. Excellent story telling, investigation, and sound quality. A very emotional story told with the help of all the key people involved. The message is so powerful.
duhdeedeeduh via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/14/19
You get to really know the people involved with so much detail and history laid out. I couldn’t stop listening. But I’m left feeling very sad about Susan. A real waste.

Cold is an excellent podcast, but somewhat repetitive. Could have been two or three episodes shorter. That being said, I found the style of narration & storytelling to be very engaging. It’s a worthy binge!

This is a great story. It’s got way too much detail. It could easily have had half the number of episodes.
shakycam3 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/13/19
This would be a great 5-6 episode series. I find it ridiculous it’s 17 episodes long. I could skip 3 episodes in a row and it would still be at the same point in the series as before. Anticlimactic.

This is maybe the best true crime podcast I’ve ever heard. It’s thorough, respectful of those involved and in the end, terribly frustrating and haunting at all the what ifs.

This podcast was fascinating. I was impressed by the in-depth research that was done for it, the new information never heard and the way the events unravelled. I’ve listened to a lot of great true-crime podcasts-often on long road trips. It’s usually a great way to pass the time. I absolutely cannot believe that this has so many good reviews. What an absolutely heartbreaking story. Dave Cawley and his team did a stellar job, outlining every detail of the disappearance of Susan Powell, and the subsequent suicide of her husband.
