“Season 2 is too drawn out and could have been told in half the time. I really appreciate the pure narration of the facts rather than the banter among 2-3 podcasters. But sometimes Dave takes it a bit too far. He could have just cited the Hifi Murder case as it affected Doug Lovell’s case, but to go into all that detail with the names of like 6-8 people only confused the matter.
Also, please just read the narrative. The description of the night Joyce was abducted and murdered was peppered with, “if. Only. He. Had. Turned. Left…” or whatever was said. It is stilted and too dramatic. The story is horrible enough, we know that going in. Just narrate it!
This is a very good podcast, great production. Just a bit less drama.”
