Addictive and Heartbreaking
I just can’t quit listening and learning of all the details of Susan’s case. I was 19-20 when her case was at the height of media attention and yet I remember absolutely nothing. I did not pay close attention to local or national news at that time. I have been really engrossed with all the information. However there are times when episodes seem drawn out with unnecessary details. Either episode 4 or 5 I was so annoyed with how much focus and attention was given to certain people who were using their dogs to try and find Susan. I was also particularly annoyed by the dramatic pause/music given when the landfill search yielded only excrement and not remains. This most recent episode with so many people’s reactions to Josh killing his son’s; Jennifer Grave’s recollection of that moment could have used some editing. I’m ambivalent to all of her comments anyway. This podcast is a great source of details that the ID Murder Mystery failed to mention in their hour or so long documentary. I don’t think they’re ever going to find Susan but I hope I’m wrong.

Beautifully done and edited. You got me hooked! This story was one of the most shocking cases I have ever heard of. Hopefully as you continue I can get a better understanding of Josh’s behaviour.

I'm really excited about this podcast - I hope it brings about some sort of justice for Susan and her sweet boys. I was hooked as soon as I heard the preview. If you like Serial or any other well deserved true crime podcasts, give Cold a listen.
