“The season on corruption had a super interesting premise that never really lived up to its potential and the season on crude promised to look at the entirety of the oil industry but ended up being just a litany of complaints about the industry. The corruption season didn’t dig very deep into the statistics on corruption or take a serious comparative look at how other countries deal with corruption. The crude season never took a broader look at the oil industry, its effect on the Canadian economy, or how different industries are held to different standards across Canada.
Overall, I think Commons has a serious lack of substance, context, and balance. I can’t see myself staying subbed if Arshy sticks around.”
