I Had No Idea I Was So Into Trees!
Branching off (haha) from the famous Ologies episode, I've been loving EVERY episode of Arbortrary! The amount of energy and excitement these two guys express over trees is contagious. I have learned so much, and only wish there was a huge backlog of episodes so I could listen all the time. I had so many "relatable experiences" just today: drove to Home Depot to get some Arborvitae for edging our yard, and felt oddly guilty and shameful in doing so. Then, on the drive home, I spotted my first Monkey Puzzle tree!! And this was all while listening to the Lodgepole Pine episode. I live in the forest in western WA, and recently we have had several enormous trees fall and crush some of our stuff (a truck, part of a garage, and our shop), so I'm a little surprised to find so much love in my heart still for trees. Thanks, Alex and Casey, for making education so much fun. Please keep this podcast going fir-ever!Read full review »

This podcast makes me giggle, drop my jaw in amazement, and look at trees in a whole new light. As an east coast resident the episode on Jupiter’s nut (Black Walnut) changed my life. Seriously. Listen and enjoy. I love this podcast!

I feel like the biggest nerd every time I recommended a podcast about trees but I do so proudly. Love nature, love trees, and I give this punny take on trees 5/5. I’ve floated through life assuming the Western Red Cedar was the best tree and have been enlightened there may be competition...
