Best coding podcast!
I learn so much every episode! I think they are great for both beginners and experts
Great mix of learning and storytelling
I’ve been listening to CompressedFM for about a year, and it is a great listen as a working junior software engineer with a Computer Science degree. Amy brings a wealth of experience doing with a keen eye for design and accessibility. It is interesting to hear about the sites she’s built for the show and otherwise, and I’ve learned quite a bit. I had seen James’ content on YouTube about JS, and he definitely expands upon a lot of the tips and tricks that made his videos interesting. I haven’t seen every episode, but I can easily skim through and find an episode on topics I’m interested in. They will often bring guests on the show who have worked in the tech industry in some capacity, but the conversation is usually tailored toward web dev topics/tooling. They make sure to also hear about how their guest got started and what motivates them to do what they do. They also mention great learning resources and tools every episode, so I know that I can have something to take away from any episode. I highly recommend for anyone interested in technology, but even more so for developers!
Great info and a fun duo!
I binged 5 or 6 episodes on a drive home last weekend and really enjoy the way Amy and James work together to share their perspectives on web development and design.
The series on content creation (podcast, blog, Youtube) and the year-end episodes were particularly inspiring.
Thanks you two!
