“I love Conan and was excited when he started this podcast. Some of his interviews are among the best shows I’ve heard in the last year (I’m looking at you Norm Macdonald).
The show starts with a long period of podcast banter. A lot of this banter is just Conan schtick, but he also does something a lot of comedians do on podcasts - talks down to the help. I know that being rude to those around him is supposed to be charming, but I usually try to fast forward till when the guest comes on. On the latest episode I never found the guest - it was just many many minutes of banter- much of which is just him being rude, so I just deleted it.
Maybe in the episode title you could include the minute at which the interview starts - to save listeners the hassle. Or - maybe hire an editor.”
