Great content but the intro and bumpers noise is way too loud.
The show is awesome. Reminds me of Art Bell (that’s a compliment). But PLEASE have an engineer or producer or even anyone with some sound software edit the bumper volume and also equalize it so it actually blends in. It is SO jarring. The show is moving along nicely, the host says “be right back” and WOOSH loud noise with too much treble and no middle and over modulating and way too loud and completely not blended into the show; it’s just horribly bad sound production. Extraordinarily unpleasant and comes off completely amateur in quality. I honestly think it undervalues the quality of the content of the show because it makes it sound like a completely unprofessional product. Please fix it. I assume song rights are expensive so maybe have someone compose a quick little 1 to 2 minute melody and have an announcer do a little “welcome to the show thing” where you can announce who the guest is etc and then have it fade out while you start to talk and then let it fade off. For breaks, just an announcer or some quick little 7-10 second melody to fade out of etc. Otherwise, show is great.

I think it’s very cool that this show is different than the other podcast ( to which I am also subscribed) but the information on both are so on point. Richard is different from other hosts. I love that you’re not afraid to go there and tackle taboo subjects and even challenge guests to when...Read full review »
