“I give five stars bc these are smart people creating thought provoking content. Why I'm personally not a fan is they seem smug and presumptuous about the people and policies they criticize. For example- after going on about how misinformed liberals are for having x y and z beliefs, they talk about how Swedish people who move to America experience rises in income. Probably true, but it doesn't prove his argument that they do so because our system is superior and less of an entitlement state. It really is no surprise for incomes often to be higher here, but to draw the conclusion that the Swedish system is worse is strange. If they were thorough and unbiased they would account for the benefits which swedes gain from those higher tax rates. I don't know the answer but I know comparing apples to half an apple isn't a useful comparison. I guess the hosts never claim to be unbiased, so it's their prerogative, but you shouldn't listen to this podcast blindly.”Read full review »
