“I was very excited about this podcast, I love the Vergecast and I love the topic. After about 5 minutes I completely lost it, it sounds to me like the “audience” of the “game show” is all just a laugh track and orchestrated “awww, wow!”... This is just so so whack. Just interview your guests man, don’t do this whole gimmicky disingenuous fake game show thing where you and your guests are pretending people are listening. It sounds so, so fake and forced and it’s just unlistenable. I felt so sorry for the super interesting guest that was put into this bizarrely concocted scenario.”
