Every time a fascinating insight into a different aspect of the world
I first came to this podcast from an interview by Malcolm Gladwell. Since then I have listened most every-second-wednesdays. Tyler’s difficult questions and the guests usual claim that no one has ever asked them that before keep me entertained as well as interested. the extra diversions into restaurant, movie and book reviews make the world of academia a lot more multi dimensional. The insistence that it is his interview not ours introduces a welcome admission of subjectivity into the format of the podcast. If you are thinking of listening for the first time and maybe wondering if you are smart enough (lol no one is ), look through the list of guests and find the people you have heard of, or at least topics you recognise. Later you will be pleased to find that you seem to be getting smarter and you recognise more topics.
