Information is great… but I struggle listening to the overworked presentation. Another reviewer nailed it— over-rehearsed/high school play script. I appreciate how much work is put in and the content.

Most pedagogically sound internal medicine podcast I know of. Episodes are thoughtful and always at least one pearl that changes the way I think about just about any topic.

I guess it’s good to have someone read a recently published review to you if you don’t wanna read it yourself. However, these supposed doctors are really hard on the ears. They are obviously reading from a script they wrote together the night before. They sound like a bunch of 10 yr olds reading...Read full review »

This is by far the best educational series based on talk only media. The conversations are extremely well designed to recap the topics as the lessons proceed. The bite size of the conversations are so well tailored that you never feel that something is forgotten or lost in the process....Read full review »

CoreIM is one of the best internal medicine podcasts. It is concise, the information is valuable and it does a very good job of presenting information fairly from the perspectives of multiple experts. The 5 pearls episodes are the best. I really enjoy listening when exercising or driving between home and the hospital. Definitely gives me flashbacks to residency/fellowship journal club but without the associated dread. Keep up the great work!

I’ve been listening to this podcast intermittently since it started. Absolutely full of useful and thought provoking information. I would listen to every single episode if it weren’t for…alas, TIME. Well considered structure of each episode. Great resource when you have a specific question too.

Really good information here, definitely we’ll organized! Clearly very scripted & fake laughs, “making conversation”, are cringy and awkward.

Short and efficient episodes that are entertaining and inspirational! Best way to spend 20min driving to and from school/clinic and it’s helped me impress on rounds more than several times! Make sure to check out the episodes on hyponatremia work up, COPD inhalers, and the Mind the Gap segment!

Really love listening to this podcast on my way to my Advanced internal medicine rotation! The episodes are short, sweet and to the point, and of course they’re very informative. I especially love their case presentations that they do on different diagnoses. Super helpful as an M4!

Loved the grey area segment. These types of cases are what makes medicine both so challenging and so awe-inspiring. It’s important we reflect on what we do to patients, especially in difficult cases. I’m hoping for more in this series

Overall, excellent presentation. I do have an issue with the mental assessment summary mentioning race. For so long, race has been used as a factor for something, without a scientific basis.
