Hotter is better. Geothermal continues to advance and blow past barriers on its way to becoming a true global baseload energy source. What is impossible today, will be required tomorrow. We have seen this with the rapid advancement of technologies in the oil and gas sector specifically. Geothermal will be no different. 3 years ago, Steve Krase and his partner John Clegg set out on a mission to achieve the "impossible" - rotary steerable and MWD tools that could operate downhole in temperatures well above 175 C. On today's episode, we hear from Steve on some exciting news they have to share and where they hope to be in the next 12-18 months.

While clean electricity and heating/cooling are important for the future, the need for access and production of sustainable food will also be crucial.
