I started listening to a couple random episodes and liked the vibe and easy listening. I like to skip around in terms of episode order and started listening to the mineshaft mysteries one. They start talking about a rap song, “look at me now”, and I think it was Taylor who said she can rap the lil Wayne part. I love rap and that song so I laughed a little. Although she prefaces it by saying don’t find it offense I’m still a white girl, no big deal if she says *most* of the lyrics, but she proceeds to say the N word multiple times. This is outrageously unacceptable regardless of the word being in the song. She is a grown women who cannot use ignorance as an excuse. You would think that in editing they would try and save themselves by bleeping it out but it seems like they either don’t care or are proud of it. It’s incredibly shocking to hear a white women say the word on a public platform. And from what I can see there is no mention of it in any episodes after.

i love you guys and the podcast a ton, but i cannot deal with how often one of you smacks your lips or makes that sound with your mouth after every single sentence you say.
