“I struggle listening to this. A guiding principle of journalism is being unbiased. To maintain objectivity in journalism, journalists should present the facts whether or not they like or agree with those facts. “journalism aims to help the audience make up their own mind about a story, providing the facts alone and then letting audiences interpret those on their own.” This lady wants you to feel the way she feels and doesn’t trust her audience to come to their own conclusions so she forces her opinion on them. I think it makes more sense to say she’s a story teller who goes to visit places related to the crime. She says all the time that she has found something that just might break the case! Then she just says something like “I talked to the victims old neighbors girlfriend and she said she saw a white truck two blocks away that night and her boyfriend thought the local milkman was sketchy” There’s nothing new of substance. It makes more sense to say reporting the story or telling a story with real interviews. However, investigation this is not.”
