Description
Join Cheri as she talks with writer, illustrator, artist, and designer Ian Tadashi Moore, about his upcoming children's book Zosan, and what it means to rediscover joy and creativity through the eyes of a child! Zōsan is Ian Tadashi Moore's first illustrated children’s book. It follows the story of Little Zochi (象小, lit. Little Elephant) as he discovers there’s more to his world than he ever imagined. Along the way he finds new friends, pushes past his fears, and brings joy to others. Based on the Japanese children’s song “Zōsan”, it features nineteen illustrations and an original story that will make the reader rediscover beauty in their own worlds. Ian is currently raising money to fund production of the book in three ways: a softcover edition, a hardcover, letterpress edition, and a audiobook complete with original music. Ian Tadashi Moore is a designer, illustrator and musician living in Southeast Michigan. He grew up in Northwest Detroit. He's been a doodler, dreamer, and creator all his life, and says his kids have helped him rediscover how wonderful life can be. To help bring this book to life: the site for the book is http://zosanzosan.com, and is on Kickstarter: kck.st/1LYEhhZ Support artists looking to create beauty! www.blushingskywrite.com [email protected]
