The search for Chandra would change drastically when it is uncovered who she was having a secret affair with- a congressmen who was 28 years her senior.

Her remains were later found, but what happened to Joyce Chiang remains a mystery that has only deepened since the disappearance and murder of another woman that went missing two years later, in the same area and manner.
